The blade of the ledger or diagonal is simply dropped into the bottom cup welded to the standard, and a driving pin is hammered to secure it. This design eliminates the need for bolts, nuts, and other small, easily lost parts required by traditional scaffolding, enabling unprecedented speed of erection.
